Security:  The U.S.A. / Mexico border is to many a security problem, to others it is not.  But to satisfy all, then there has to be a plan that can secure the border while helping solve its other problems.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Opportunities:  People living along the U.S.A. / Mexico border currently have few if any opportunities for advancement into the future due to lack of water and lack of transportation.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. C)... Water:  Lack of Water to many locations that need it.  Water is a necessity of life, and most of the U.S.A. / Mexico border is devoid of water during periods of the year.  This prevents good farming, cattle raising, tourism, industrial activity, etc..  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. D)... Shipping:  The long delays in shipping items by rail or truck.  To ship from coast to coast takes several days for most items.  And if the item goes by ship through the Panama Canal it can take weeks.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Panama Canal:  Potential of being locked out of the Panama Canal.  The Chinese and the Panamanians control the access to the canal and can slow or end our passage through it at their will.  We need an alternative to the Panama Canal that can move people and good from coast to coast.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Parks:  High cost of running our State and National Parks that are located along the U.S.A. / Mexico border due to lack of paying tourist in these remote areas.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Border Patrol:  The high cost of our Border Patrol is costing money that can be used for much better things on both sides of the border.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Pollution:  Fossil fuel pollution is killing our air, our waterways, our people and must come to an end.  The Southwestern U.S.A. and Northern Mexico can produce alternative energy if allowed to do so. Natives:  Our Native Americans that are on our border have little means of producing an income and thus are some of the poorest people in the nation.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Potable Water:  Due to weather, evaporation, pollution, sand storms, etc., the little potable water that is available to the citizens in locations along the U.S.A. / Mexico border is barely usable.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. N)... Jobs:  The U.S.A. and Mexico are growing in population faster than the job availability can handle.  The lack of decent jobs leads to unrest, crime, and distrust of governments and enterprise.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. O)... Illegal Activities:  Mostly the illegal smuggling of drugs and people across the borders into the U.S.A., and the illegal gun smugglers from the U.S.A. into Mexico. Cost to build Wall:   The cost to build fences that actually work is prohibited and therefore, the Great Wall will never be built using government tax funds.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Interconnects:  Mexico is building a Mag Lev system that will cross into the U.S.A. and deliver passengers and freight, we do not have any interconnects for receiving these items.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Food for the poor:  Many who live along the U.S.A. / Mexico border are malnourished due to poor growing conditions, lack of water, and lack of education on how to grow food.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Texas Electric Grids:  The state of Texas does not currently have its electrical grid system tied into the Nation's grid system, and this causes major problems during blackouts.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem.. Pipelines:  Many of our nation's pipelines are well past their 45-year life span and thus, some new lines will be needed.  Pipelines have a short life span due to weather, corrosion, and temperature variations.  The BorderTransportationSystem helps solve this problem..
