Housing for the Horses on Patrol The Border Patrol in several of the remote areas of the U.S.A. / Mexican border use specially trained horses for do their patrols.  Horses can move faster than people on foot, can negotiate rough terrains, and can go where motorcycles and other vehicles cannot. But there needs to be housing for the animals; housing that includes food storage, waste disposal, out of the weather cover, and medical facilities.  There currently exist a few segments of the border where horses are used and do have facilities, but there may be more areas that make sense.  Thus, the BorderTransportationSystem shall look at these areas to see if facilities will be necessary.
