Housing Units As the population of the world grows there will be a need for more housing that is affordable to all people of all nations.  This housing can be pre-fab units, stick-built units, container units, temporary units, modular units, etc..  To date bringing materials into and shipping housing units out of the American/Mexican border area is very expensive or impossible, and therefore is not taking advantage of the ingenuity and talent of those living in the border areas.  The BorderTransportationSystem using the high-speed highways and rail systems can cut shipping time from days to hours, and therefore open up the opportunity for factories that can produce housing units. The BorderTransportationSystem will be making money by selling water, electric power, and charging a fee on the fuels transported and used at each location.  There should also be a small fee for each housing unit produced, and a fee for each load of materials shipped in and each housing unit shipped out.  Employee wages and benefits will be taxes at the normal rates used by the state in which the housing factory exist.
