Local or Straight Through Freight Lines The current railroad system in the U.S.A. and portions of Mexico have one track that is used for both directions of travel.  The BorderTransportationSystem will have two to four tracks depending on the will of the investors.  The design will accommodate four tracks, two high-speed express tracks and two slower speed local tracks.  The express tracks will have a limited number of stops, whereas the local tracks will be able to stop at all stops along the system.  There will be only unidirectional use of the tracks, one set going west to east and the other set east to west, thus eliminating the chance of a head on crash.
