Rest Stop Franchises Each of the BorderTransportationSystem stops may qualify for some sort of franchise, be it vending machines or full-service restaurants and gasoline stations.  There will be opportunities for vehicle battery recharge or battery exchange franchises.  There will be opportunities for fast food, mini-market, smoke shops, and other franchises.  There will be a need for small franchise businesses to take care of the cleaning of facilities and the High-Speed Rail engines and carriages.
