National Park Service and our Railroads If you have ever ridden on an Amtrak train as it crosses the U.S.A., you may have been privileged to hear a National Park Service representative speak about the nation's parks that you will be seeing or passing.   This is the 'Trails and Rails' program and should be expanded, and definitely will be part of the BorderTransportationSystem.
