People Mover type Calls Some of the BorderTransportationSystem stations are rather remote and not exactly what one would consider a heavy traffic on/off stop, therefore the system will be an On-Call system for those stations.  If a passenger has a ticket to the station, then the High-speed railcar will stop at that station.  If a passenger is at the station, then the High-speed railcar will stop at that station and board him or her.  If no passenger is getting on or off at that station, then the railcar will bypass the station, just as done with the People Mover systems used in many locations. The signaling can be done via the Border Patrol personnel or via sensors that sense if a person has paid for a ticket, and has passed through a gate, and is standing on the platform.  One must have an authorized border pass in order to get the ticket and pass through the gate.
