Natural Gas Pipelines The BorderTransportationSystem may allow a properly designed and monitored Natural Gas Pipeline within the 'T', but natural gas is a highly flammable substance and thus, all piping will have to be plastic or a non-sparking material as will be all pumps and valves.  The pipe shall be double walled with gas leak detectors between the walls.  If during the design stage it is deemed that Natural Gas will be too explosive, then the system will NOT have a natural gas pipeline.
