Rail Car Manufacturing Facilities The BorderTransportationSystem will need hundreds to thousands of new rail cars that can carry passengers, freight, animals, prisoners, liquids, and much more at high speeds from our Pacific Coast to the Gulf of Mexico.  To accomplish this, there shall be several manufacturing plants that produce the components and the finished railcars, and the Arizona town of Douglas is proposed to be one. The Agua Prieta, Mexico and Douglas, Arizona area would be a good location for building passenger rail cars for the High-Speed and Mag Lev portions of the BorderTransportationSystem. The two towns are rich in potential labor, have a decent infrastructure including an airport, and have a border that is structurally easy for workers to move back and forth.   Location..
