American Racism Dominates Our History
by
I started this book three weeks before the May 2020 protest and riots began, and hope that the world has seen and will seek solutions to the differences between races that have affected lives in precarious ways. Several decades ago we embarked on a historic journey, that of putting a man on the moon. The day that it happened the world stood still, there we were for the first time in our history looking at this little blue marble we call home. We on that day sat together as people of the earth, not as enemies, or political foes, or different religions, or separate races, but as one.
This text, American Racism Throughout our History, is a sampler of the decades the US has been a nation and how we treated newcomers as we sought to protect our jobs, our lands, and our way of life. We invited immigrants when we needed their skills and muscle, but then told them to leave after we had what we desired. We outright refused many immigrants from entering our nation, and we interned many that were here as we cowered in fear.
With the help of our religions and governments we passed laws that restricted the rights of individuals and entire races. With the help of our media and politicians we created distain and hate for many that were here or whom desired to immigrate here. With the help of our medical establishments we illegally sterilized many, and we experimented on those we felt were not suitable for being in our population. I did not research and write this to badmouth races or individuals, but to inform you, my reader, of our history with the hope that you will do something to prevent any and all of these occurrences from ever happening again. Will you?
So use this manual to brief yourself on those that may have affected your life,
and then use the website links to expand your knowledge of that person. Enjoy!
